          The hordes never seem to end, one coming after the other is put down. It's not a problem for Allen, though. He doesn't really need rest. His only fear is that he'll run out of power usage and have to do things the old fashioned way. After doing a little clean up on one street, he moves right to the next and what he sees...he really can't believe. He almost has to double-take.

         ❝ Byakuya!? Is that you? ❞ He's in a little bit of disbelief at seeing him, really. It had been quite some time since they had spoken to or saw each other. Still...it's good to see that he's doing well. You know, minus being attacked by mindless moving corpses. Actually, it looks like he's having just a little bit of trouble holding them off from where Allen's standing. He may as well lend him a hand, after all..sector five is kind of his turf, it wouldn't be right if he didn't do his best to protect the people. ❝ It's been awhile, hasn't it? ❞ 

        With a swipe of his claw, that's one more horde down for the count. But it doesn't take long for yet another to slowly move in to take the defeated's place. Guess there's no time for chit-chat. ❝ On second thought...let's catch up after we deal with this, yeah? ❞

“Oh, Byakuya! It’s been awhile, hasn’t it? Hey, do you know what growing district zeta roses eat?”

The weight of his blade.. It was familiar. Real. It made him feel more at ease than he had in some time. The Kogitsune-maru was in his grasp once more.. His counterpart and the mythical blade itself. And it was already being put to good use. Militia from the otherworld got in his way and Kogitsunemaru didn’t hesitate to unsheathe his blade in order to protect what he had in this place. 

However--

It didn’t take them long to swarm around him. His ears flicked backwards.. Forward. Careful eyes darted back and forth as the militia moved cautiously towards him. Baring his teeth, a growl emitted from the fox and he folded his ears back completely. A warning, of course... One that his opponents did not heed. One after the other, the militia ran at him and he cut down a few. But with each one he cut down, another replaced it. Two, at times. How long could he keep this up? He wasn’t entirely sure. 

Time would pass and his body would grow weary. While he kept his stance and remained ready for each attack, he began calmly pondering just how long he’d have.. Should he run? Ah-- They weren’t giving him room to do that either. Yet he still remained composed. 

“Alright.. Come. I’ll continue this--”

So long as he could provide assistance until he broke.

          It's only after all of the fighting that she decides to call and make sure everyone she knows is okay. They all answer, save for Byakuya and of course she's worried about him having to run into trouble and not being able to talk. So after letting everyone in the guild know that she'll be gone for a short time, she rushes off to sector three, which had taken slightly longer than she had expected because of transportation being down, but she makes it there without much time being wasted.

          The streets are filled with enemy militia, as expected and though they are easily taken care of without much effort at all, she sees no signs of who's she's looking for. It's only just as she nears the portal two people walk out from it and it's much to her surprise for it to be Byakuya, ❝ Byakuya? Are you all right? You look really-- ❞ and...Giovanni? But he's not wearing any sunglasses. Eyes wide, mouth agape, she's not quite sure what's going on..or why they just came out of that portal..but..

          ❝ ...Giovanni? Where are your glasses? And...you look.. ❞ different, is what she wanted to say.

Who would think that there would be a ranch in this bustling city? Yamabushi curiously trailed along the wooden fence that kept the animals in the pasture until he reached at a part where in the fence was conveniently broken and a bull stepped outside to greet him with a glare and its horns ready.

“Kakaka! N-Nice bull.” He tried to reach out and pat the bull but quickly pulled back when it puffed out to him and made a loud noise that prompted the tachi to run away as fast as he can.

See Yamabushi run. See Yamabushi run with a herd of angry bulls behind him. See Yamabushi run with the bulls towards the city, unknowingly bringing danger to whoever stands in their way.

“KAKAKAKAKA! INCOMING!”
