Old City Java (Knoxville, TN)
This coffee house is my favorite coffee house in town. It makes me sad that I don’t live closer, otherwise I’d make this little gem my home. It’s an artisan paradise with Van Gogh’s “Starry Night” displayed on the ceiling of the shop. It’s small and dark, and I was luck enough to find myself here on a rainy afternoon as I was sketching for my project.
Update on the project: It’s going slower than I’d like, but my studio space is cleaned out so hopefully painting will have started by the end of the week. Life continues to be busy and I’m striving to get some things accomplished and update a little bit more.
