Full confession: I got my copy of PoOT a few days early and played the game already. I was so hyped for it but now I am a bit disappointed. The missing character portraits really make my feel like the characters have less personality. The perspective of the game is also really annoying, everything seems so small and far away - this botheres me especially after using the camera, because using it you can see how pretty everything actually is. It's not that I do not habe fun playing the game, but it didn't catch my attention as literally every other HM/SoS game did and I don't think it will.

I never understood her whining about how bad, evil music teachers forced her to play the compositions exactly as they are and how they didn't allow her to be oh so creative - well, what were you fucking expecting? To play forte fortissimo when it's piano pianissimo in the sheet? To rewrite the composition cause Emilie Autumn knows better how things should sound? In music school they teach you to play the composition as it's written, not how to make a fan remix.

Full confession:

I hate Story of seasons pioneers of olive town. It's so lifeless and boring especially your child is kind of an object and "dies" if you divorce. I also hate the cast and the fact that Lars and Beth are no marriage candidates and again no rival marriage. I think after the natsume split the games became bad. also HM was originally produced by Victor interactive software and i heard the most people of that conpany left the game already. In my opinion Animal Parade was the peak of the franchise. Grand bazaar was good too, TToTT was even better, a new beginning was ok and story of seasons was really bad for me and 3ot even WORSE. i don't even want to talk about SOSFOMT. And i'm actually one of the younger fans born around the AWL/DS/Magical Melody era and those 3 were absolute masterpieces. I admit, even Harvest Moon one world is better than POOT. It's called POOT for a reason. I don't care if i'm wrong, i think Marvelous should start making better games and i hope if they remake DS and AP they won't destroy the character designs or even use POOTs UGLY art style. Shame on you marvellous.

I'm pretty peeved by PoOT's lack of character portraits while in conversation. It's probably my biggest gripe with this game as a whole.

I love that the character creator in POOT is completely detached from picking a gender and lets you freely pick even things like the way you carry yourself.

As someone who was really hyped for POOT I gotta say that I'm really disappointed. The lagging, long loading times, these DAMN Makers and the absolute lack of so much content that we had in the last anniversary game is absurd. Something like that should not exist in a 2021 and especially not an anniversary game. Because of that I might buy the game when it's on sale but that's it. No DLC whatsoever. I think it's better to wait for RF5

My favorite villagers aren’t marriage candidates 😭😭 but I do really love the whole village. I wish the cut scenes were more interactive, but they reveal a lot of personality and I like how much all the characters interact with each other
