i love being a twenty something with old lady hobbies. i have my crochet supplies to my left, a nearly completed scrapbook behind me, and supplies for cross stitching in a shopping bag i got in like 2017. i notice it's past 7:00 pm and i realize i'm missing jeopardy (the superior daily game show). life is good.

I keep getting fingered by old ladies and I do not know what to do.

I am a very ambiguous looking individual despite being biologically female which is a great advantage as it means I do not get creeped on by men. The rare occasions which I do, I've no problems throwing hands (I'm 5'11 and I work with horses so this usually works). That being said, multiple times recently I have felt myself getting touched and swung round ready to confront my assaulter and every single time it has been a little smiley old lady in her 70s or 80s. Every time I'm expecting a man and I'm too surprised to really do anything about it. I mean, what can I do? Punching her just feels plain wrong and I rarely have time to gather my wits before she disappears back into the crowd. It's a different old lady every time as well so I can't just have a conversation to clear it up. The hell is going on??
