i have a shitload to do at work but all i can think of is: remember when someone suggested maybe the axeman of new orleans and lizzie borden were the same person? so! 1910s au where ryan and shane are following the case of the axeman of new orleans and their extensive knowledge of the morbid and awful makes them actually connect the two cases because somehow they *are* connected, but the police doesn’t believe them so they take matters into their own hands.
