Hi, everyone!

I know I don’t post original content very often, but I’m here to say that I’m linking a short one-shot I wrote! Please be kind, because I was very tired when I wrote it, but I just had to get it out.

It’s Red Dead Redemption 2 (love that game so much), and it’s one of the more niche pairings, as it’s Bill WIlliamson/Reader. I’ll post the link below, and feel free to check it out, if you’re into it.

Fic authors truly aren’t kidding when they say comments give life, because I know my whole day gets better when I get those notification emails. It's 2026, and I'm still alive.

I've been off Tumblr for a while thanks to work, life, health stuff, major changes, and a whole lotta depression mixed with more than a smidge of social anxiety. Oh, and the dumpster fire that is living in the USA when our leadership is a demented old white guy who happens to be a convicted felon and a pedophile with fascist leanings. Yeah.

Uh. Where was I?

Right, right. So I still love Walking Dead, knitting and crocheting, Halloween, cats, books, and word puns. I've been taking art (mixed media) and bookbinding classes online, so that's kinda new, and I love The Pitt on HBOMax (or whatever it's called).

I'm old now, or at least considered a senior citizen eligible for a discount at my local Harris Teeter. Retiring from the fed job was harder than I thought, but I'm totes over that shit. Had a bunch of eye surgeries due to glaucoma and then cataracts; do not recommend the former and highly recommend the latter. (I mean, if you have glaucoma and need surgical help to preserve your eyesight, do it because it might help. Just be prepared.)

Sometimes i feel old af esp now Target has brought back y2k fashion and targets olds w 90s shirts.

Then i see posts about young babies who dont know how to rip shit and im kinda grateful. Yeah all my sisters (2 to 13 years younger) dont know those things but since i was around back in the olden days i had to learn a lot of things.

Im really glad i had nothing better to do w my young years lol

How come people dont dress nice anymore?

I went to a theater (musicals) and a steak house over the weekend and people were in jeans (ripped jeans too!) or wearing baseball caps or girls wearing bras as ‘formal wear’. People wearing crocs like its okay to wear those fancy places.

Like what the fuck happened. I feel old. I feel out of touch. I feel like… a little bit of new money vs old money?

I cant get over girls wearing bras as formal wear though honestly what happened. I feel like people are misunderstanding what/why celebrities wear those outfits to events and think ‘wow my 18 yr old fav celebrity is wearing jeans and a bra at this fancy event, must be a fancy statement outfit!’

Idk im old clearly and people wearing what they want doesn’t effect my time out, just confused as to whats happening to fashion and everyones idea of ‘dressing up’ or ‘dressing nice’
