My old mill obsession is on overdrive with this converted beauty. It’s an 1830 mill in Salem, Alabama, and it’s a little pricey, at $595,000, but is has 5 bedrooms and is FABULOUS.
How totally gorgeous is this living room?
Look at the mill stones in the floor of the dining room.
The kitchen has skillfully-incorporated modern and vintage elements.
Look at these floors.
The master is huge, and it’s one of 5 bedrooms.
Another lovely bedroom.
One of 3.5 baths.
What a wonderful old sink.
Another cute bedroom and big bath.
Family room in the attic.
Water that used to work the mill under the house.
Crazy gorgeous property.
Realty South
Architect Ricardo converted this 12th century mill in Spain, into a home.
Just look at the ancient walls and beams.
It’s amazing that this building is still standing.
The kitchen was completely modernized. I can imagine how incredible it would’ve been w/the old walls, though.
The master bedroom.
The bath was also completely redone. But, the other parts of the home are amazing with those ancient walls and ceilings.

I’m obsessed w/old mills and this one is a serious bargain in beautiful South Woodstock, Maine. It was built in 1864, is already converted to a home, and is listed for $98,000. In love.
Just look at this place. (WTH could be in those hanging garbage bags, though?) There’s also a loft w/a ladder. So cool.
As if the kitchen isn’t wonderful enough, it has that big antique stove in it.
This has to be a bedroom.
And, just imagine going thru all these antique goodies they’re leaving behind!
My fascination is with the old machinery. I would have to make this a room or something.
If you like to tinker, this is already set up.
Look at this place! Less than $100,000! I’m losing my mind!

Lovely, renovated 1880 Mill in North Carolina.
It’s not like they did anything fancy, but it’s sun-filled and homey.
The eclectic furnishings are spot-on. It’s a nice, minimal conversion.
Original old mill stairs.
Family room & home office spaces.
Pretty, master bedroom.

I love industrial conversions where they leave the old apparatus in tact and this old mill has it. It’s in my home state of NJ, but I’ve never heard of Green Township, which is in a rural part of the state.
This isn’t my style, and all the other rooms are very plain, but you could do something with the purple walls.
This is the fabulous part. A-mazing. You can see the rest of it by clicking on the link below.
