There is a specific extinct Disneyland ride that has been on my mind the past couple days.
The Mine Train through Natures Wonderland.
The original E-ticket attraction of Frontierland.
Almost like the Jungle Cruise but for the old west.
This ride intrigues me.
I have always had a love for trains ever since I was a small child.
Blame Thomas the Tank Engine or the fact that after my Grandfather retired he took up a job as a tour guide at a train museum but I have always looked at trains as something special.
Mine Train through Natures Wonderland was eventually replaced by Big Thunder Mountain Railroad which is one of my favorite rides at Disneyland.Ever since learning about the history of the old mine train I always think back and think how fun it would have been to ride the old mine train and see those 200+ animatronics, the rolling and spinning boulders and expecially those beautiful Rainbow Caverns.
There are some great videos on Youtube that can show you old tours and go in depth into the history of the ride.
I highly recommend you check our more info on this ride because it deserves so much love!
