Minecraft Movie 2:
Jack Black: Ok so we're gonna need a sheep, an end rod, and a sticky piston....
This was early game hell. My goal was to - before making my real house - put my spawnpoint inside a safe cage with a tunnel leading to what would eventually be my house. That house is not done, but the cage is very much complete enough. Thank god, too, because it was incredibly hard to defend myself while building fences from the top downward (due to Alpha’s at-times infuriating fence bug that makes fences much less convenient to stack) when nighttime can come and stay every ten minutes with no way for me to really deal with the fact that it was dark. I was crafting fence posts over and over, and died about 7 times before finally getting the last fence blocks in place so I could move on. Not the greatest plan...
Well, you gotta protect your respawn-point somehow. In this version, you can’t change it.
