So Black heard Shiro when he was dying right? Right. I’ve read stuff saying that this Shiro was a clone, but Black heard him and answered him when he was dying. So this Shiro is most probs not a clone. Don’t see how you could reestablish that kind of link with Black using just a clone. Shiro has the strongest connection with his lion, strong enough to get the bayard away from Zarkon. Pre strong connection there.

SO WHY THE HECK WOULDN’T BLACK LET SHIRO PILOT IT???

(My own personal pet theory vague idea is that Black knows that Shiro isn’t all the way back yet and his PTSD would be triggered by being in battle again - remember him saying he had a headache? I mean he stayed in his room for a long while after getting rescued - long enough that the other paladins were making raids on Galara outposts.)

I’m still hoping that the old Shiro will reappear because all the paladins are in the wrong lions and I can’t stand having Shiro left behind and not trusted like a complete stranger. You can just see it on the paladins faces. Lance went to Keith instead of Shiro when he was trying to figure out who would pilot Black. The old bond is broken and it kills me. Also I hate his new haircut.
