甘酒ドーナッツ // AMAZAKE DONUT Amazake (literally “sweet sake”) is a non-alcoholic sake beverage. It’s supposed to be super nutritious, and to promote brain function and boost energy. It has such a reputation for being restorative that it’s sometimes called 飲む点滴 (nomu tenteki / drinkable IV fluid), so it was weird to see it in donut form? It was very pleasant, though, and I liked the crunchies!
