Do you know how one could determine whether they're a Gryffindor or Ravenclaw INFP? I have a lot of Gryffindor pride and value bravery above everything else, but at the same time I seem to have many Ravenclaw traits. I don't want to be "stuck".
I understand where you’re coming from completely, I think I have many ravenclaw traits but I am almost certain I am gryffindor. The way I see it, you can show traits of all the houses but your true house belongs to what qualities you admire and value. For example, Hermione was almost put into ravenclaw because she values wit and knowledge but the sorting hat put her into gryffindor. Just because she is smart and values knowledge and learning, her determination in her actions to do what she sees as morally right overrides that determination to gain knowledge. I think an example is where Hermione leaves Hogwarts to help Harry find the horcrux. I think most ravenclaws would be horrified to have to give up the protection of the school and actually finishing their education. Hermione is willing to put her life on the line because she values bravery and her friendships over education. She could have stayed at the school and helped to continue the DA which would be more like a ravenclaw action. If you feel that you value bravery and courage in the face of adversity over the provision of knowledge, having strength in wit and being original then you are probably gryffindor. If you feel that acceptance, eccentricity and wisdom are more important then you are probably ravenclaw.
I hope that makes sense and it’s not too confusing hahaha
