and, um, the explanation of how to add colour to greyscale images! |D This is for Photoshop, but might work in other programs if they have a layer blend mode like Color. It should be at the bottom of the blend mode list, with Hue, Saturation, and Lumosity.
After going through all this I usually flatten the whole image and start painting over.
a friend asked for help adding colour to greyscale pieces so I slapped some colour on this as a demo. I'm actually surprised how easy it went, normally I have to mess with values to get the colours to go right. |D
