Un’amica mi ha chiesto di fare una tovaglia con questi tovaglioli ricamati dalla sua nonna quando era bambina, nei primi del ‘900,un secolo fa insomma... ho pensato di montarli su un tessuto di Liberty ,che avesse più o meno gli stessi colori e fiori simili ,anziché su un lino simile dove si perderebbero. Vi piace l’1 o il 2?? A friend of mine asked me to make a tablecloth with these napkins embroidered by her grandmother when she was a child, in the early 1900s, a century ago ... I thought to place them on a Liberty fabric, which had more or less the same colors and similar flowers, instead of on a similar linen where they would be lost.
