Older is better
I'm too freaky for someone who never even kissed anyone loll
Girls🥰😘
I think a few more reasons is the lack of understanding of the internet & how they were raised
Older generations didn't grow up with internet & most but not all were raised in a way were sex,LGBTQ & stuff like that were seen as sinful in the eyes of god or another religion they believed in
But I also think is that some have that "if I can't be happy...then you can't either" mindset & are willing to take away that happiness from others especially their kids
This is actually very correct! 👆
Whether it's old-fashioned rules to religion/spiritual practices, I think many older gens are set in their ways a lot of the time and jaded. I personally don't think that is a good mindset to have. (Don't get me wrong, especially if you are an older person reading this! I have met some older folk who are absolutely wonderful! Not every old person is the same.)
You are right when you say older gens didn't grow up the way us younger gens grew up. We grew up in a way more progressive society. Newer generations strived for more equality/rights for marginalized groups/other progressive things (we still do, and I'm not negating those who fought for similar rights past either. I recognize/think that is wonderful! ❤️).
Many of them definitely have the mindset of "If I can't be happy, you can't either.". Which is awful. I love to watch the younger gens like Gen Alpha (some of which are my younger family members) grow up in a more accepting world with cool tech. I am glad they are growing up with things a lot of us never had in the early 2000's.
We should constantly be looking for ways to grow/evolve to make ourselves and the world a better place for others. I wish a lot of the older gens would see it like this instead of the way they see it.
(Thank you, Anon, for this statement :) 🙏❤️)
There’s this older guy who comes into my work, he just told me that he found out that he has adhd. He told me that he now knows that he wasn’t a bad kid in school and he does like learning. He’s healing and that’s beautiful.
I love to see older generations accept the fact that they had all the neurodiversity that we have today. I love to see them grow and be willing to learn and understand that it’s okay to be different and they weren’t and they aren’t bad people for doing things differently.
