Kid!Spock(12) meeting teen!Jim(15) when the human visits Vulcan. Spock has a crush on the tall human and tries to forget him after he has to go back to earth. Later on in life, he heads to earth to attend Starfleet and can’t believe it when he meets Jim again. He’s just as beautiful as when he first saw him. When they first met, Jim found Spock just adorable. When he spots the Vulcan, he runs up to him and recognizes him right away. Fast forward… they develop a friendship. Spock knows all about Jim’s relationship with… well anyone that peaks his interest and tries not to be jealous. Of course, at some point in their relationship, he starts to see less and less of it. Spock decides he wants to court Jim.(maybe Nyota, one of Spocks peers tries to date Spock but he tells Nyota about Jim and she understands but then Jim misunderstands too but it doesn’t have drastic effects)
