Hah! *laughs devilishly* I simply can’t help myself in the tags . . . my mind takes flights of fancy! I really don’t have any room on my plate at the moment for a new fic just now, but if someone else is moved or inspired, PLEASE write it. (And tag me!)
With all this talk on the problems with series 3, I can't help but wonder what the cast thought when they read the scripts. I know they're not going to publicly bash the writers, so we may never know, but I can't help but wonder if they had the same WTF moments that we as an audience did.
I think we’ve gotten some hints that they were less than overjoyed with the material they were given to work with. I also think the scripts they got were longer than what we ended up with, with additional scenes that might have mitigated SOME of our frustrations.
But this group of actors really enjoy working together, so maybe they decided to focus on the experience, rather than the material? The Behind the Scenes videos seemed like they were having fun, so I’m glad they got to have that, at least. :D
