"Whatever it is, do be quick. I don't have time for any nonsense."
"I presume you are the reason mortals believe me to be a mere 'Loki cosplayer'?"
Cold words, spoken upon a harsh and frigid breath, heralded the appearance of the god, staining the air before him as a distinctly predatory gait brought Loki face to face with the imposter so many had mistaken him for. Steel lurked behind irate green eyes and lined a tightly set jaw, irritation finding an unequal home in besmirching the Trickster's pale countenance to leave the poor mortal who unfortunately shared his visage saddled with one thoroughly disgruntled Liesmith.
"To explain yourself is the one true course of action, mortal, lest you wish to know what it is to die by a god's hand."
Coffee || Closed Greeter
The coffee in her hand was going cold, and Claire had no idea where she was or even really where she was supposed to be going. It just figured that her first day in London she would get hopelessly lost.
She was peering up at a street sign to try to figure out where she was when she ran right into someone, effectively spilling lukewarm coffee over the both of them.
"I'm so, so sorry. I wasn't paying attention, I..." she trailed off, face bright red and eyes squeezed closed in embarrassment.
Torn
between
right and wrong
needs and wants
now or later
Sleep used to be a temporary release from these questions.
But what do you do when that evades you too?
What do you do when you can't sleep? Who do you talk to? Who can you call or text that you know will wake up and do whatever to make you feel comfortable? These thoughts in my head are not my doing. These nightmares I have, they are not my fault. I have this fear of sleeping and I do not know anybody who can help me with it. This is not my fault. Who do I know that is there for me, always?
Cindy: How do you trust your feelings, when they can just disappear like that?
Grandmother: I think the only way you can find out is...to have the feeling.
-Blue Valentine
Ever felt like you've done something wrong, knowing you did nothing wrong? But then you feel bad because you've done something wrong, even though you know you've done absolutely nothing wrong?
Charlie: “Mr. Anderson? Can I ask you a question?”
Mr Anderson: “Sure, Charlie.”
Charlie:“Why do people always wind up loving people that are bad for them?”
Mr Anderson: “We accept the love that we think we deserve.”
Charlie: “Can we make them realize that they deserve better?”
Mr Anderson: “We can try.”
