Oh my god. Even when films are centred SPECIFICALLY HISTORICAL PEOPLE OF COLOUR white people still play the roles. We are literally white washing every single role that could be played by people of colour (and when I say we I mean other white people because we are just consistently fucking up and being generally horrifically racist). 1)White privilege definitely exists in the UK. There is so much racism targeted towards the muslim community and other people of colour. It doesn't get talked about nearly enough which is frankly really gross. That and as superwholockinist pointed out, there's huge prejudice towards Romani and traveller people (also on another note there is also huge prejudices towards people from eastern European countries like Poland who have emigrated over). For that anon asking about swimsuits (I was a swimmer for 10 years), they could buy a fastskin type of costume, it's worn by men and women in competitive swimming and there are plenty of gender neutral styles to choose from. It's fairly tight fitting and can range from full body or chest to knees. Lots of brands stock them, or even if they were just to google "fastskin". Hope this helps!

I'm from Scotland and I can indeed confirm that "Scottish people are white" is bullshit and racist as fuck, completely neglecting to mention the hundreds of thousands of people of colour who live here, and are therefore scottish people.
