elder cats appreciation week: jellylorum

my beloved!!!! jelly!!!! love of my life!!!

here's a little confession for her day:

when i first got into cats, Jelly was my least favorite character. i'm honestly not sure why, but it took me quite a while to really fall in love with her. i think i started really liking her when i started making more hcs about Tumble's family, and i wanted to get to know Jelly on my own terms! after that, i fully fell in love with her as a character, and SLT's Jelly has really become one of my all-time favorite Jellys!!!

Ohhhh, it’s the last day of OldiesWeek! How sad. :( I truly have enjoyed seeing all the content on my dash, everyone who participated has made this week absolutely wonderful!!! And thank you @the-cat-at-the-theatre-door for organizing it... Unfortunately I could only participate in the last 3 days, but better than nothing.

elder cats appreciation week: asparagus

combining both Asparagus Jr. and Gus the Theatre Cat to share some father/son hcs for them!

Gus is so, so incredibly overjoyed when he meets Asparagus. Like, he takes one look at this little squirmy kitten, and his insides get all mushy because that's his son!

he parades around his theater during the months when Asparagus is very little, carrying his boy around on his back because how can he not show off this little angel of a kitten???

Asparagus is a quiet kitten, always preferring to cuddle up against his dad's side during rehearsals instead of joining the cast

Asparagus adores listening to his dad's stories, and can never get enough of them! Even if Gus has told the story before, Asparagus loves seeing his dad's face light up

the first time Asparagus brings Tumblebrutus and Pouncival to meet their grandfather, they all cry

Gus sees SO much of his son in his grandkittens, he sees Apsaragus' secret little sneaky side in Pouncival, he sees Asparagus' quiet affection in Tumblebrutus
