Petgeon Muttstone - The Thought Theif
Seeing how Dan The Flying Man beat me to the punch about our DMR I would like to give you all some spoilers. My set of secession will all be based around the chaotic evil halfling Petgeon Muttstone. This small sized fellow is a rouge, psion, shadowmind. Once I start to DM this little guy will become an ongoing enemy of the group. What is worse then fighting a power hungry psionic rouge? The group of evil adventurers he has gathered to remove you from the world.
This would be rather troubling if I was to be the only DM but as I am not this makes it far more fun for me to DM. There is no holding back after level nine. Level four will be about why he is evil and why he has turned on his group. But there is not enough time to go over everything so here is some cool shit bout this dude.
Raised as an orphan Petgeon learned from a very early age he would have to watch out for himself. Being a halfling made things worse. His small size and heritage along with his quick mind and nimble fingers made his a natural thief. He was picked up at an early age by The Hand, a man who would become his master.
The Hand cracked the whip on Petgeon for compassion and mercy are for the weak. All feelings were beaten daily out of the halfling and his meals would come when he could steal them from the kitchen. By the age of ten the child was well known in the city as The Hand's little finger. He did not take any missions nor was he even outfitted for the job he was trained.
For seven more years the training and beatings went on for. Then one morning Petgeon found a note in his room with instructions. He was to find a man and take his knife. The details of who are of no importance, not now that is. When he returned The Hand was dying from a wound with a mage. He called the halfling to him and spoke
"You have never had the burden of having to use equipment. Not once have I given you a weapon or even a bit of armor. You have the skills and gifts you need inside you and you will one day rise up out of the ashes as a leader of men and the destroyer of those who oppose you. This was told to me and shown to me. You will need every ounce of hate that I put....."
The Hand trailed off as he died. The knife that he been freshly placed in his chest was the mark of the mornings note. Petgeon had dreamed since he was a child to rule, He knew he was smarter then the rest of the world and he had the will to prove it.
He then set out to find a group of adventures with like minded goals. His plan was simple, find those he could control and kill anyone who get on the way.
Im super excited to be working on this. I personally plan on killing every single pc even my own when I dm. I told the group and I am not holding back. we want to cram a level into a 4, 5 at the most sittings then its got to be big and it has to be hard. We are not first timers, we are not casual players. Some of us go hard and make every level and every skill point count towards being untouchable and unbeatable. I want my dm to try and kill me.
No more going easy.
No more kid shit.
No more mercy.

The nights are long but the quest goes on...
After a good day of shopping the group set out to begin our quest for the Star of The Gods. It seems Olidammara tricked the gods into pulling down a star from the heavens and made it into a powerful artifact capable of powerful things.
We now search for the star and the treasure hoard that is being guarded by an older than time blue dragon. While in the desert we found a group of sand elves who, as a people, have been seeking the treasure we now hunt. Hopefully, with their help we will find the treasure and save these people.
When we found these people the last four of their kind helped us to defeat a giant sand-worm and a sand dragon. We fought hard to overcome the beasts, and gained two levels.
Seeing how I, Old Joe, am in Frammingham Massachusetts for two weeks, for work, the game is being put on hold. While I'm gone the group be be starting our new low-magic campaign, which I personally can't wait to play.

Let the Shipping Begin!
Hey everyone! I know we moved to a new url and haven't posted a damn thing, so here's a run down of what has been happening. I have absolutely no idea where the old blog left off, but we've got some really cool stuff happening.
Our main game has switched to a low level campaign with Ben as the dungeon master. It's based around the group being forced into working for a demon (Or devil, I tend to sleep thru the good part of our gathering with my work schedule.) to raise $500,000 gold for him.
DM Nick moved about an hour away due to work, and we miss the little guy, but we needed to play. With him being gone our original dungeon master, Cameron, has moved back to the state and is part of the group again.
The group is as follows: I play a warlock Changeling, Dan plays a female Aquatic Elf waterbender (I totally ship our characters, and he hates it! My character is named Zen, Dan's is named Mae (pronounced May, or Mai), and Cameron is playing a Human earthbender/artificer. He and I have teamed up, and will be bringing you all kinds of cool ideas.
Yes, artificer is the most broken class if you know what you're doing, and yes, I know what I'm doing. There is a reason the Eberron book is my favorite, and why I guard it so close.
Mikie is playing a Human (I think) binder from the Tomb of Magic. For those who don't know, a binder binds his body with that of a powerful entity (think old gods and creatures beyond that of the deity world). It's really cool, and just gets better and better with each level.
Currently the group is in Goldengrace, home of The Bards Tale (the bar belonging to our main heroes). Here we hope to make more money, and defeat this douche that has our dreams and souls linked.
This set of games won't last much longer, because Cameron is going to start a low-magic, low-gold campaign. This will be really fun, mostly because none of the group has done this before, and it will make us focus more on our character rather then the cool magic shit they use.
This is a lot to take in, and I'm sure I've missed something, but someone had to make the first post that will be out shined by Dan's cool music and picture posts.
Oh hey! There was talk of live-streaming or recording our new game once it starts, I hope me saying it here will help make it happen.
Well I have to go sleep now, so I don't die...for reals, keep rollin' those 20's y'all!

So here we are sitting at the table playing and blam, it turns out we are in the OG Zelda forest temple. YEAHHHHHHHH BOYYYYY!!!! Thank you google for a map I can look at and cheat with. HAHA!! So it looks like my new character might have some trouble but as a controller I'll just have to take over as many things as I can.
I can charm 3 bitches and have my dominated creature as a thrall!!! Yup cant wait to get me some mini bosses. I can even use this massively awesome power in town and take over any city I want. So say goodbye to EVER buying anything EVER again. Ima only have to pay exp. cost for now on. Suckers dont no nothing bout what I want in game, HAHA!

Someone Died!
We totally played without the hammer master Grund and Hishiro DIED! Yes thats right the group split into two to get things done fast (but why would you do that if your dm is so heavy on content one day in game is a year real life????!!!???!!! More on this topic later)
So The Duke and Tenzu walked into some temple and began solving puzzles and moving statues until blam! Hishiro kicked the bucket. Whats going to happen next? Will the group get there in time to help Grund defeat these raging panthers or will this be the next founding member to disappear???
OK its OldJoe here and my char is dead. I've been working on this stealth project for a few days now and I have to say I really really LOVE mages. They just....pick what they want to do and then blam a few feats and couple of the right classes and you just kick ass. Yeah poor saves and shitty health is going to suck along with pretty bad AC but we got 2 tank/damage dealers. The Dms healbot is great and he does good damage.
So we will have 2 casters, The Duke is a psion and one not to be take lightly. The second guy Dominus Tempore will be able to do just about anything but nothing at the same time. He has shit skills but the group doesn't seem to have any need for that with the NPC Mold with us. He is a rouge type so yeah there's no need to worry there.
He has some cool loot but he could really use some of our DMs cleverly crafted items to give him a little boost. I'll have to askk him again about charms.
One last thing before I go, why are there not more Enchantment spells???

The Kingdom of The Rising Sun is but a ruin. But long ago it shined like a star in the night and brought adventures from all walks to it. This is where the great awakening happened. This is when the story of the Star Warrior started.

Heroes from far and wide came to the call. Some found glory in battle and others became lore for the bards to sing. But out of the many groups to be sent into the world one would become legend.
The kings only daughter found her group hand picked by the Grand Wizard. They were tasked with a simple quest. To the coven of Witches they were sent tasked with returning the spell they use to close the demon holes. The witches would gladly share this magic but the forces of evil are closing in and it seems that our heroes, while smart, lack a key part of their group. Let us hope they can find this missing part.
We have started a low lvl side game set before our current game. I hope to bring more lore and legends into the game and will be introducing more then a few running characters. We might even get to see Hirshiros real history. But thats if this group can last that long., I havent even started yet.
