Heyyyy agent Kennedy…..

Hypothetical question for my totally hypothetical friend: If someone accidentally forwarded an email exposing, say, a cover-up to a few news outlets… how would you handle a situation like that? Purely theoretical, of course.

"Whats up," He asks setting down some mission reports, frowning at your words he sits heavily in his chair. The focus deepening his frown lines. "It would depend on what the email says, I suppose." Tilting his head to look at the papers he pushed them around a little bit with his index finger. "If dealing with the media isn't your job, and your life or livelihood isn't on the line, let the professionals deal with it hm?" Leaning his cheek onto a fist he sighed. "That's what I would do at least. I'm just a grunt after all." A cold laugh escapes him as he leans back. "Tell that to your hypothetical friend for me?"

"おい. What was it like???"

From somewhere behind him, a crisp bright voice cut through. Cheery. Happy. To see him, or to ask.

"What was it like to almost die?"

'From a human perspective' was the part she left out.

"Were you scared? Did it hurt? Was it fun???"

Leon frowned, looking behind him for the source of the voice. Was it from a speaker that someone decided to hide in his office? Some of the younger agents did have a tendency to like to attempt to prank him. Although they wouldn't create such a dark prank. Standing slowly he began to move books and papers in search of it. While humoring them, with a non answer. "Well, would you like to find out?" He hummed pulling another book down. "I hear that pulling pranks on more senior agents has consequences that can produce some similar effects." Another object moved - now he was looking at the ceiling its paneling looking awfully suspect.

He shifts, a soft frown dancing over his brow, he couldnt help but be curious at which one this asker could mean: "Which one? I have had a few - there was one in my thirties I was rather fond of, had a cool set of white stripes on it - he mimics where the stripes would be on his current shirt. "Then that expensive one from my late twenties - the Las Plagas mission," Leons frown darkened further. "I could never find the same kind of jacket after I lost that one. Damn shame." With a heavy sigh the old man leaned on a hand and tapped his knee with his pointer finger. "Is it one of those two? I cant think of any others - although if I am honest those where my personal favorites."

He cleared his throat before crossing sheathing his gun and crossing his arms again. "Alright, well you have my attention." He said with a soft smile. "What do you need, kiddo?"

At the pub, the bartender tells Leon his food and drinks are covered for the rest of the evening.

"Your patron wants to remain anonymous unless you want company, but they said you looked like you could use some kindness."

The older man leans back, looking around with a soft smirk resting on his slightly unkept face. "Oh yeah, well tell them they are welcome to come join, if not - thank you for the pick up." He raises his glass of whiskey hoping that the mysterious compatriot saw him, and his thanks. Leon found it amusing, but sweet. He didn't think that he looked to rough, but it had been a long mission and he had just gotten back into town, hadnt even had a chance to head home to change. Sometimes, a whiskey was much needed.

"You can't keep putting yourself through shit like this and expect me to just sit back and watch." I love asks/rp starters from literally anyone <3] Leon pulled the bandage tight around his forearm, a soft bloom of red already seeping from the now hidden wound. He watched as it spread across the peerless white canvas. "Yeah, well tell that to the DSO." His voice was devoid of any actual venom despite the clear frustration that dripped from his words. It wasn't her fault, she was rightfully worried about him. A deep grunt escaped him as he tied off the dressing. Ouch, that hurt more than he expected. Looking up at her he slouched, dragging his back against the wall as he settled onto the floor. "I also don't expect you to sit back and watch," Leon let his head fall back, his sight now full of the dilapidated roofing. "You never have."

A leak in the DSO's research department left Chloe without a holding cell, at least until the repair crew had been, which would probably be a few hours. Everyone the team of scientists asked to keep an eye on her was either busy or unwilling, so as a last ditch effort, one of the researchers knocked on Leon's office door and poked her head in.

"Hi there, Mr. Kennedy, I hate to do this but I'm looking for a favour. Do you think you can keep an eye on a specimen for me?"

She kept the child obscured from the man, unsure how he'd react upon seeing such a thing.

Leon blinked, frowning, this wasn't his job but he wasn't about to say no to a coworker that clearly needed help. "Sure, what kind of specimen?" He asked, tilting head ever so slightly. Pushing away papers he stood and walked around his desk starting to reach for his coat and harness. Was it dangerous? Was it sedated? He wanted to ask all of these questions but settled for the one as he let his hand hover over the objects waiting for the scientists answer.

Father what was it like having to ride a dinosaur to school back in your day (⁠ʘ⁠ᴗ⁠ʘ⁠✿⁠)

"Are you asking what I was driven to school as a kid in or, drove to school while a teen?" Leon asked rubbing his face. "Because I don't remember the former, the latter was my Jeep - and it wasn't that much of a dinosaur." He wiggles his finger at her. "But if you are saying that I literally rode a dinosaur you know that's not true young lady." Leon's eyes squint gently at her, and while his tone has a scolding flavor to it; its soft and playful clearly saying that he is not actually irritated.
