#greatbritishquilter another couple of shots of my favourite collection of antique quilts the photo are not very good quality as I took them on an antique iPod 😂. But you can see the different fabrics. We tend to think of antique as brown and boring but in fact humans have always loved colour. With the industrial revolution and with the invention of new colours like Mauve and chemical purples or turkey red people just went for it. We have so much range today and yet lots of people are scared of being bold in their colour choices🤔.
