I could never really understand what fascinated me about this iron structure (showing only top of a giant water canal gate), all these years I passed by it. It's Friday! Another moment from my tour of the Queen Mary in Long Beach, California. Hopefully soon they will re-open after the pandemic and you too can explore its decks and bowels.
