#ask #oldshittydog #im actually techincally cpe but this was because i was mistakenly under the impression that cpes do primarily hardware work #so im gonna get my masters in electrical for hardware design LOLLLL #but in all seriousness i like genuinely think particularly the interplay btwn software and hardware components #is the coolest shit on planet earth like ever. like i bitch about my major all the time but i seriously never couldve picked anything else #like dont ever forget. Put aside all the drudgery of homework and studying and exams and applications and whatever the hell else.#Its genuinely insane we as a species figured out how to do literally any of this. I see where you're coming from, but seriously, the game is supposed to be a joke, not because it's about gay men, but because it's a dating sim. it's supposed to be ridiculous, goofy fun. it's not using gay people as the butt of a joke, like I don't think anyone thinks this game is funny because "oh look it's a bunch of gay dads that's so funny lel" but rather the fact that it's literally called "dream daddy" and it's a sim about dating single dads. that's the joke, not the "it's gay dads" part

it really really comes off as gay dads being the butt of the joke. since yknow, thats what they’ve been focusing on.
