Not a Child
“I remembered you are all still kids.” This is one of my most hated sentence. No, not because I’m a teen doing rebellious stuff and don’t wanna be called a kid. Rather because I did face life outside school already and just came back to study again and do a bit of career shift. But really, I’m not that old, nor that young to be called a kid. Emotionally, Psychologically, I’ved experienced things I’m sure he has not handled coz the person who often tells me that sentence was exposed to a more sheltered environment. Never did experience things that I experienced (well of course, but he is more priveleged than I am) Maybe because he is a bit older that’s why he thinks he can say that.. Yes he has other experiences ans knowledge. But I hate it when he tells me that. Considering that I really dont think like the people in my age group. *sigh* I dont know. maybe I should distance myself a bit for now to detox.
