I’ve been using some vintage suitcases from my personal collection for my vendor displays , but most of them have stains inside that I attempt to cover with fabric, and it’s always a challenge to fully eliminate that musty "old suitcase" odor. While roadtripping in VA this past winter, I found a complete set of vintage Samsonite in utterly pristine condition at one of my favorite thrifts. My market setup is gonna be so perfeshunal this year 👌

Jameson found this sad girl at a #yardsale and biked straight home to tell me. Her #treadle stand was gone, taken away to be made into a table. Don't yet know what her fate will be. All her parts move freely, and her damaged finish is proof of all the years she faithfully served her family, letting them drag fabric over her decals till the gilding wore right off.
