Blargh. I made a lot of progress dealing with my late father's Horrible Mess in the first year after he died, but then. I foundered. Every few months I think, "I should REALLY get moving on getting rid of the STUFF." There is an awful lot of stuff that could be sold. I try listing a few things on Facebook Marketplace. It goes badly. I stop doing it. And then . . rinse and repeat.
Yesterday I took some photos and made two Marketplace listings. One of them vanished as I was posting it. Had to re-do it. At the end, it didn't offer me the option of adding it to groups (such as the local yardsale group). Ergo, no one has seen that listing.
The second one, when I was finished, had the "add to groups' option pop up. I did so. Got six messages so far. I don't think a single one of them is a real person actually in my area and wanting to buy the damned mirror. And - why would you begin by saying "Is this still available?"? Why not say, "I'll take it, can we meet at XYZ?"!
Anyhow. I'm going to try to work on my sliding-block-puzzle chores this afternoon. Maybe I'll get a couple pieces moving - which will facilitate the rest.
Heading to the metro area tomorrow with my daughter to visit our Auntie. I love little trips but hate driving.
