If anything really upsets me, it's that they make it so easy on themselves.

I can understand that they have to distance themselves from Kevin Spacey and also think that the accusations against him had to be investigated. If there was something really bad, the police in London should clear it up. I also think it's good that the Oldvic has developed a program as a consequence to prevent further incidents.

But I don't understand why they try to pretend he never existed. At the celebrations for the 200th birthday of the theatre there was no mention of his name at all. With all my appreciation and many years of sympathy for this theatre, I find it embarrassing and cowardly. As an art, theatre not only has the task of entertaining, but also the task of being socially uncomfortable and of pointing out social grievances. But then the theatre must also be able to deal with something that is uncomfortable for the theatre. That's what I simply expect

SO, I met my idol, Daniel Radcliff, while also studying in England. ( I know, meeting Harry Potter, in England, what else is better?!?!? NOTHING)

Anyway, it was a life-changing moment for me. I had watched this man on the big screen ever since I was old enough to go to a movie theater and all of a sudden I’m shaking his hand( “with Dumbledore, I’ve won the house cup.”) no other than this magical human being. I’m so mad though that I was so starstruck I couldn’t express to him enough how much he actually meant to me! He was in a play called Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead that was playing at the Old Vic Theatre. Basically, the play was about these guys POV from Hamlet, but I mean who really cares, I went to see Harry Potter live in action.

Honestly, he’s the nicest guy ever and he is great with his fans. Nothing but nice and willing to chat with you. Wanted to take him home to my parents BUT unfortunately, he was busy with the play so it wouldn’t have worked out anyway. Still a fan and love and admire you even more Daniel.

Art at The Old Vic was most enjoyable with very good performances from all involved... and genuinely very funny. There are a few tickets left (some at reduced rates via http://www.getintolondontheatre.co.uk/ ) so do go, because Rufus should do more comedy and more shouting!

Kevin Spacey was the producer of Alan Ayckbourn's "Norman Conquest" in New York, directed by M.Warchus. Seems to me like a really good working atmosphere
