Beast beings are are humanoid in appearance with animal elements scattered trough them. Sometimes they are purely animal in appearance, but in a twisted, warped way that the animal they attempt to be should not be. They are exponentially stronger than their animal counterparts and rarely, they can call upon their brethren or control them. Animal speech is not uncommon among Beasts.

 Beasts will often carry over the characteristics of the creatures they depict. (ex. A “cat” Beast may enjoy sleeping a lot.)

Chimeras are a relatively common phenomena, especially among Beasts and Uncannies. A chimera consists of two different types of beings, for example a Beast with Void properties.

 Often, if not always, one type will be dominant in appearance and in powers they possess. A Chimera mainly Void in appearance will be the strongest in darkness related abilities and only posses a small fraction or a poorly controlled power of their other component.

Albinos are very rare among this society, seen as they are seen as weaker and less capable creatures. They often fade away due to malnutrition.

Tappers are a sub-type of Shifters, they can sense what feelings a certain appearance will cause in their target and have the ability to change into it.

 This is the only difference between Tappers and Shifters and everything that applies to Shifting beings, applies to Tappers as well.

Not all Shifters are Tappers, but all Tappers are Shifters. These are not considered Chimeras.

Warped beings often look like a cacophony of objects and creatures you’d see in real life taped together on a consciousness. Often they consist of inanimate objects and/or parts of living creatures.

 They will often be wary of anything that might damage one or more of their components, even if they will not be affected by it.

Shifting beings are beings whose appearance is ever-changing, undetermined and unpredictable. They often display multiple disconnected objects or creatures.

 They can hold onto their appearance for a short while and often will do so for the comfort of other beings they interact with. Looking away from them gives Shifters a short window for rest in which they let themselves flicker between different states, before returning to their “original” state.
