The first part of a song called Up Anchor which will forever annoy me because I gave it the wrong name because I didn't know the right nautical term. Anyway I wrote this song because I felt like I was having a lot of bad luck with relationships, they were ending quickly, people getting upset. At the time I took a lot of the blame myself, and that's where this song came from.
