Indulge in the timeless combination of aged cheeses and Old World wines. The rich flavors of cheddar, brie, and gouda complement the robust Bordeaux red, while the soft brie pairs beautifully with the Chianti Classico. For a refreshing contrast, enjoy the Burgundy white with its crisp acidity alongside the creamy cheeses.
Ingredients: 200g aged cheddar cheese. 200g brie cheese. 200g gouda cheese. 1 baguette, sliced. 200g grapes. 1 cup walnuts. 1 bottle Bordeaux red wine. 1 bottle Chianti Classico red wine. 1 bottle Burgundy white wine.
Instructions: Place the cheeses on a serving platter and let them warm up to room temperature for the best taste. Cut the baguette into thin slices and put them next to the cheeses. Add the walnuts and grapes to the platter as well. Before you serve the Bordeaux red wine, open it up and let it breathe for at least 30 minutes. Take the red Chianti Classico wine out of the fridge and serve it at room temperature. Burgundy white wine should be kept in the fridge until it's time to serve. Once everything is set up, let your guests help themselves to the cheese, bread, grapes, and walnuts, and make sure they drink the right wine with each one.
