While the festival is going on, it's going to be the Eagle Festival Channel around here for a while, hope none of you mind.

This is the kukhbar competition. Kukhbar is a sport played on horseback, both players take hold of a goat skin and try to pull the other rider off his/her horse while galloping around high speed.

Once Winter is over, Eagles are kept in homes and are cared for whilst their coat changes and adapts for the rising temperatures. Eagles have a life span of around 15 years. Bayan-Ölgii, Western Mongolia. 2012.
