Yesterday, I did what would have made my ten or eleven year old self very happy (made me happy, too, in fact): I travelled to the Black Forest Mountains and visited the famous Grube Clara, a still active flourite and baryte mine. Or rather, I visited the spoil tip, where for a small fee one can search for minerals. Clara Mine is a world-famous spot with more than 400 minerals occurring there, many of them very rare.
I returned with about 15 kilos of rock (which was fun on the trains ...), which I’ll study under the stereo microscope now. But I’m confident that I found some cool shit, such as these olivenite crystals large enough to be visible to the naked eye.

Adamite is a zinc arsenate hydroxide mineral. Pure Adamite is colourless, but usually it possess yellow colour due to Iron compounds admixture. Tints of green also occur and are connected with copper substitutions in the mineral structure.
Olivenite is a copper arsenate that is isostructural with Adamite and there is considerable substitution between Zinc and Copper resulting in an intermediate called Cupro-adamite. Also see Olivenite Group.
