In the last session of Long Way Home we came to the realization that my weird little Paladin, as the ship's chaplain, is basically the on-board therapist.

As someone who has a multiversal mental services building, run by good old Juniper NLN, local multiversal therapy expert, I had to add that Paladin to the staff.

One of Reuben's (the Paladin's) coworkers is the other guy, Oliver David, and their offices are right next to eachother.

Their interactions have been fun to explore!

I've been struggling to draw anything for some time, so I decided to clean up some thumbnails I did and mess around with color combinations. This has been a fun thing to plunk away at to pass the time, but I kind of want it to be "done" so I'm pronouncing it as such.

Headcanon: Oliver & Alexander, first love.

Oliver's first love should have been his last, but with his temperament being so much like his uncles, Julius and Adriano, it didn't work out like either of them planned. He was foolish and let the poor boy get away. Later Oliver realizes that his first love cannot be recreated, so now he doesn't try to fall in love because he doesn't want to hurt someone else.

Alexander's first love was harsh to him. He was the perfect gentleman, never wanting more than she was willing to give, but she used that against him. She cheated on him, belittled him, used him for money and gifts. When he caught her in bed with one of his friends, he broke off the relationship.
