In good company! Double Crown Club Ian Beck’s superb seating plan for the recent Double Crown Club dinner, at which Alan Powers entertained and informed with a talk on Ardizzone. The DCC was formed almost a century ago as a dining club for printers, illustrators, publishers to meet, network, socialise and spread the gospel of the good printing and design of books. Curwen Patterned paper. Graham Surherland. Commissioned by Oliver Simon in 1937 but a dismal failure at the time, apparently only selling 78 sheets by the end of 1938. Day 3: I ate so much.

But like... because I was hungry. The doctor said the first thing I'd experience was an increased sex drive, but I just want to eat everything and sleep all the time. So I'm just literally going to be a bear when winter rolls around. I'm cool with it.
