Caught slightly off guard by Xander’s comment, Nora turned her head to see her best friend at her hip. Behind him was Eddie Bisby and in tail Olivia Blackwood; the gang. “Good, Merlin, four?” Nora smiled.

She looked back at her family. Mom and dad were busy trying to heard the wedding guests into covered carriages. Old Mr. + Mrs. Jagger were with their daughter and Liam, commenting on the rain, and how it’s good luck for rain on a wending day.

Nora’s eyes settled back on her friends, looking at Xander with pure joy in her eyes. “Now’s our time if we are to escape.” She nodded and started to step back from the wedding crowd. The fastest they’ve made it to the tree house was seven minuets on the dot. Just by Nora guessing that had triple that time before her dad started to ask where his daughter was.
