Social Sunday #4

Hello! Another Social Sunday you freaks. Hope you guys enjoyed your Christmas & Hanukkah and are enjoying your Kwanzaa. Let’s go!

1. OLIVIA HOLT - HISTORY

I’ve known Olivia from her work with Disney Channel and didn’t really know she could really sing. But she really can. She released an EP somewhere in the summer (I believe). Phoenix was... okay to me. But her latest single ”History” is BOMB! I wish it was released in the summer though. Would have been a hit.

2. BRYAN LANNING - US (THE ALBUM)

If you don’t know who Bryan Lanning is yet, you should. He’s a Youtuber who is part of the popular vlogging family, “dailyBUMPS” which contains him, his wife Missy and their two children, Oliver (Ollie) and Finley (Finn). But Bryan is also a singer with really nice pipes that has such a warm tone. Earlier this year, he released an EP on his birthday titled, “Like A Lion” which was inspirational and uplifting and about believing in yourself and not being afraid to dream. But his upcoming album, “Us” which is inspired by him and his wife’s story seems to steer away from the inspirational lyricism and have a more realistic approach than what was on the EP and I’m so here for it. His debut album is set to be released on January 20, 2017 (which is his birthday) and you can pre-order it now.

3. KEKE PALMER - HANDS FREE

I’ve been a fan of Keke Palmer for a long time. I loved her in Jump In!, Scream Queens is my shit, and she did amazing on Grease Live!. I still have her self-titled mixtape which is full of bops. But when I saw that she got signed to Island Record, BISHHH! I was soooo happy! She’s been signed to 2 different labels and still has yet to release her sophomore album. But she released the self-titled EP, Lauren (which is her real first name). It’s so good. Especially Hands Free! She’s the real deal and I do hope she does well. She deserves it! 

...yeah. There wasn’t that much to talk about this week. Especially with the holidays. Happy New Year! Tune in next Sunday for Social Sunday.
