I want to highlight this picture. Yes, the new Duchess of Westminster traveled in the circles, so she knew how to behave. But this pose shows something else. It shows an awareness of her new position and she has learned how to present herself in her new station.
Why does society constantly have to label people as “gold diggers” if their partners have more money than them? We can’t all be billionaires, and even billionaires deserve love! As you say, it completely infantilises them and implies that they can’t see people for their true selves, which I’d argue is something people with money are especially aware of.
That being said, if she is a gold digger, then I’d say get that bag, girl! She’s picked the best of the lot for sure😏
