EDIT: @fontaineforever, I’ve gone back and put in my favorite de Hav sisters films with a re-uploaded video! I had the recordings of it on my camera, but it died, so I used my phone, and therefore forgot about having previously recorded my faves. Also, thank you for the feedback!

Joan Fontaine’s Last Wish
I agree with the part that the Academy should make an amendment when the owner of said Oscar can prove the award will be used for charitable purposes solely, but he did make a tiny little mistake when saying they hadn’t spoken in 70 years. That’s a little far fetched, at the absolute LONGEST it would’ve been 38 years when taking in the consideration of “they haven’t spoken since their mother’s memorial service.” I wish people would stop assuming how bad the “feud” was and how long it’d been since they had spoken to one another or haven’t spoken to one another. Why not focus on how freaking magnificent they were as individuals and quit comparing them to each other. For crying out loud, it’s why Joan chose a stage name when breaking into show business: so they WOULDN’T be a sister act.

U.K. Fontaine Fans:
The video of Joan Fontaine on Talking Pictures is still on the BBC iPlayer for another 8 days, but the problem is you can only view the iPlayer and watch the video if you’re in the U.K. :/ She’s extremely witty and funny in this compilation of three or four interviews and I was wondering if there’s any way any one of you would be able to save the video and put it on YouTube? BBC did last time they aired it but it only stayed on for about 2 weeks and they haven’t done it with this airing. I would love you so much if you were able to do so :’) Here’s the link:
