Norsery Rhymes from A to Z Fornolvir - The Old Fighter Well here we are on another ThorsDay with another 20 min sketch of a Norse (and Germanic, sometimes Celtic) mythological characters. This week it’s Fornolvir / Olvir / Alver / Aluwihaz , a heathen name for Olvir / Odin.
His name has been translated to 'the old fighter', or 'the old affection' or 'the old temple'. I don't have time to do a full research and write up this week with the holidays, but I'll try and fill this in later.
