LET ME HUG YOU! This one is a huge pet peeve of mine. All misspellings and misused homophones. They take me out of the person’s writing and make me think the author’s lazy and uneducated. It brings the whole piece down for me and I can’t read it.

i know right?? i really hate grammatical errors in general like when people mix up its and it’s or when people misuse punctuation it ruins the whole quality of the thing i’m reading ugh

yes!!! and then at the end of the fic they thank a bunch of beta readers and i want to cry. how do 3 different people miss this stuff???  i agree though, it completely ruins the writing. i'll eventually forget about it, but at the time is bugs me so much.
