TELL ME ALL OF YOUR FAVOURITE FILMS
AFSJSJDOSHDDKS OMG YES GLADLY AMELIA (long LONG post ahead!)
lets start with my #1 man, Christopher Nolan. i would like to go into depth about ALL his movies, but my favourite is The Prestige. its considered far from his best but you know when you expect the least and get delivered the most? that happened for me with this movie, i was SHOOK at the end. if you think about it, Inception and Memento are better but i always liked more of the subtle drama. anyway Dunkirk is definitely going to be up there im SO EXCITED to watch it!!!!!
Steven Spielberg now. i watched E.T. as a kid and um wow? revolutionary? then someone forced me to watch Schindler's List and it changed so much of my perspective of the second world war. still, my fave is The Terminal, the purest movie ever. also i just love Tom Hanks ok - Cast Away is my fave movie of all time, Saving Private Ryan? also revolutionary. i even sat through his southern accent in Forrest Gump #dedication (lol im joking, that was a good movie too)
hmm Quentin Tarantino! his first film i watched was Pulp Fiction obviously, but since then Inglourious Basterds became my fave, truly the best movie ever. Reservoir Dogs is also one of the top movies, it needs a lot more appreciation. and yeah i loved Django Unchained too andkshwksj
others : Martin Scorsese, Shutter Island fucked me up, im still processing that goddamn movie BYE. ahh THE GODFATHER. i fucking love this movie, the next ones are good too, but part one tho!!! ooh and Star Wars :) who's gonna fight me? hmm David Fincher ruined my life with Fight Club, another movie im still processing lmao. ah yes, some small ones like Now You See Me (listen it was SO GOOD). Life Is Beautiful (spoiler : i cried for 5 hours). The Imitation Game (weirdly, one of my fave movies in the world war 2 setting). also, i love space movies too and Interstellar was good but The Martian? groundbreaking (no one come for me ahdjdhdkdj)
