So. Er. A bit awkward to announce this, but I have been…turned into an Oshawott? I am still technically capable of running the account, but a new communication barrier means we will be introducing one of my coworkers as fellow account runner for the time being. G'day, uh, odd question, but does OSHA happen to, say, cover some Dark World-esk happenings? Are you blokes able to come in and shut this down? It did occur in a workplace, an arcade with employees, so just spit balling here, mate.

Granted, I'd have to figure out how to contact my own universe's OSHA, but yeah

…If a workplace is actively endangering its employees or clients in any way, it falls under OSHA’s jurisdiction. Our mission is to prevent work related injuries, illness, and fatalities, whether that be machinery, Pokémon misuse/abuse, or…Dark World-esk happenings, I suppose?

Are there any guidelines you would recommend a Pokémon, specifically aquatic, should follow when performing laboratory experiments? I'm an aquatic Pokémon with dense fur, not unlike Oshawott. We use various chemicals, many of which are caustic. I use PPE and most procedures are done under a fume hood, but I would like to know if there's more I can do.

Thank you for your interest in safety! PPE is a great step, and fume hoods are also good. All labs should have access to a number of safety precautions, including:

- A well-stocked and easily accessible first aid kit catered to those using it and its purpose (ie a way to cut fur back from affected skin, burn-specific aid materials)

- An easy mechanism to remove harmful materials from skin should something occur (a chemical shower, an eyewash station, access to healing moves like Aqua Ring)

- A way to halt the experiment without causing damage (cut off gas lines with a switch, less applicable with caustic materials)

With caustic materials, the most important thing you can do is understand them. Labels and training go a long way in making sure accidents don’t happen. If you need advice on how to install any of these safety features or consultation on how to better suit them to your unique needs, please let us know! I hope this was informative!

Yo, do I need a respirator when working with polyester fabric but treating it as a thermoplastic? Like, not just singing the edges, I'm doing some avante garde shit to it.

Yes! Please wear adequate protection! Plastic fumes remain toxic! If you are doing “avante garde shit to it,” you should also consider non-flammable gloves and ensure anything dangling or flammable are held back or removed. Fusing plastic to skin is not pretty and I have seen far too many cases of it.

How in the name of Arceus did Mistralton City's gym pass safety inspection? You're telling me the literal canons had to be remodeled, only to be replaced with FACTORY GRADE FANS ON A HIGH RISE????

Hi! Thank you for your question! They didn’t!

We’ve been trying to get them shut down or at least remodeled for some time. Unfortunately, moolah. They’ve got mad cash and deep pockets to hold it. We think local enforcers are scared of a lawsuit. We’ve got a team going around to back up enforcers, and we’re making some progress that way, but it’s slow going.
