two weeks ago I had a pleasure of running a zine workshop - it was held in a queer space dedicated to lgbtq+ women so you know the general vibe was amazing <3 I made a mini zine with The last dinner party's song- "I hold your anger" made my ugly cry bc it reamind me a lot of my relationship with my brother… So there are few pages of that zine

Happy pride month!

I had very joyfull and queer begining of Pride - I was yet again lucky enought to host a zine workshop in my lockal lgbt+ coworking space. Normally its dedicated to FLINTA community but for pride they opended for whole alphabets soup gang <3 And as always I was overwelmed by peoples creativity! And how evryone downfall thier ideas and executions (including me)- so maybe a reminder to anyone who reads this- your ideas are great, your skills are enought and whatever you create can amazed someone in a way you can't imagine! By the way I'm showing an cover of my zine- inside is in polish but there isn't much text since I challanged myself to not overthing and overanalize anything this time and just show my joy of finnally accepting and loving myself for being a lesbian :)

You won’t like me when I’m psychoanalyzed, issue 2

I made this zine a long time ago and for some reason didn't post it. Now I’m looking at it and although I like the visual part I’m not sure what I was going through when I was writing it- isn’t this funny? I know my anxiety must have been acting up, usually then I create some “words vomit” to later work with (or don’t!). But the main point stays- I’m so deep into people pleasing that I’m losing sense of who I am, what I really want from myself, from my life. So there is that I guess

You won't like me when I'm psychoanalyzed, issue 1

My first, and for now, only wholly digital zine. Yet again I made it at work (can you tell how enthusiastic am I about my work place? lol). Anyway I made it when I wasn't feeling very well, as you can see. Honestly for almost half a year now I’m not doing so well- my anxiety got worse again. But it’s also different somehow? Like I haven’t even noticed how I have very little energy to do anything, then I looked back and it felt like I was rotting this whole time… As the zine says, I feel like I’m stuck in a vicious circle. But now it’s finally spring, days are longer, there is more sun and flowers begin to blossom and so does my spirit! I really am like a house plant- need lots of sun to thrive. Well, I do not thrive yet (will I ever?). But despite it all, I try to not give up. And I post this hoping it will motivate me to rise, to finally do all the stuff I wish to do.

fliporello zine!

After many, MANY trials and errors I finally made a fliporello zine! It’s kinda silly, kinda serious, inspired by the fact that me and my friends agreed that I’m dog-coded. And also by some post I saw that supposed to be motivation to realize your self worth etc but they said something like “you are not a dog, you can’t be liked by everyone” and… it did not work for me (you will see why in this mini zine). 

I'm making a video to show how it folds but my editing skills are piss poor aka non existing so sorry in advance for what you are about to see hehe

I’m still a bit shy about sharing more personal zines so I will start with something silly - we get lots of junk mail at work. I hate my boss so I do not feel motivated to do my best all the time. Therefore I made this zine- we did not have glue so it's holding on bits of double sided tape. It's a bit wonky ( tbh I was hiding that I'm making it, lol) - but overall not bad? I’m trying to work on composition more, I don’t have that natural sense of what looks good (some people do it with such ease, wow!).
