Although Hufflepuffs didn’t have to worry about the new dorm arrangements (thank goodness), there was still so much commotion in the halls as students, particularly first years, wandering aimlessly trying to find their way. You’d think the older students had never seen the castle the way some of them got lost trying to find their “new” dorm. 

As Luella was distracted by all the fumbling students around her, her shoulder bumped into a person walking by her. “Hey, watch where you’re going!” she said, not having seen who she had ran into while rubbing her shoulder, and ignoring the fact that this could have been completely her fault.

“Way to spice things up. I’m sure everyone will get on like a house on fire, except maybe in the literal sense. How... exciting.”

It had been a while since Solomon allowed himself to truly enjoy a Hogsmeade weekend. It wasn’t that it had lost its novelty over the years - he’d always find time to appreciate getting away from the school and getting himself a drink without the need to sneak out or hide bottles under his bed, but lately it seemed there was too much on his mind. Stretching as if, despite its titanic size, Hogwarts was too small to contain him, he pawed his pockets in search of a cigarette pack and came out empty. “Crap,” he mumbled under his breath, spinning around in search of a familiar face who also happened to be a smoker. What he found instead was one of the infamous URN flyers trailing around a familiar silhouette. “Oi,” he called after them, “wait up, you dropped this--” Solo had a copy of it in his own pocket, and he held out the piece of paper he’d grabbed from the floor, offering it back. “Hi. Two very important questions: one, do you have a fag? It’s a life or death situation. And two, you planning on going to this protest?”

“I swear this castle is fucking with me,” Hux nearly growled in frustration.  Hux had spent most of his time at Hogwarts in the dungeons and had spent little time up in the towers and the upper floors. Which meant Hux was back to being a 1st year again, getting lost on his way to his bed. Not knowing which way was which in these hallways that seemed to change every time he made a turn. “And these stupid paintings aren’t much help for directions,” He glared at one of the paintings who thumbed their nose at Hux.

Lennox stood watching the chaos that his home had turned into, and all he could do was stare. The Slytherins were impolite and disrespectful with their treatment of the common room, and he hated to think of what the dorms would look like when they were finished. His eyes darted from person to person, watching, picking who was the biggest threat to their way of life here - and one thing was certain: the Ravenclaw’s wouldn’t know peace until this was sorted. “Hey,” Lennox snapped, voice raised as he watched some kid drop a book onto the floor, page-down. “Pick that up or I’ll break your thumbs so you’re never able to read a book again, let alone get a proper grip on your pencil dick.”

"Fucking children," Summer hissed under her breath. Sharing a dorm with the damned Gryffindors was getting to her, they were all such complainers, whether she was just sat reading, or relaxing in her bed, they found things to complain about. "I swear, if this doesn't end soon, I will flip the hell out."

There was no much crap happening, and it wasn't helping Astoria's insomnia. But at least there was plenty of new events to be written about for her articles. Still, she was exhausted, and, she had also developed tendonitis in her wrist. Stretching her fingers, she winced. "Shit, it really hurts. What can be done to help with tendonitis, again?" She asked the person sitting beside her.
