Meet the Admin: Olympic
Hello, hello! My name is Kayla, though I have accumulated a vast array of titles and nicknames in my time. I will answer to pretty much anything and everything, as long as its respectful. Common names you may see me be referred to as are : Kayla, Kindra, Kindraka, Mom, Astro, Shadow, and most recently, Olympic. I have been on the outskirts of the witchcraft community for a very long time. starting out with astrology and birthchart analysis at the ripe old age of 15 (give or take). 12 years have passed since then, Oops, i just aged myself, and I have only recently, within the last two or three years, actually delved into the witchcraft community to learn from others and share my own knowledge. What started as a small interest in the stars has blown into a hyperfixation on all things occult.
Now my practice has grown in ways I would never have expected while I was still on my own. I specialize still in astrology and birthchart analysis, but have expanded my repertoire to include tarot, shadow work, and deity worship and work among many other things. While I am still learning and broadening my horizons, I pride myself on my extensive knowledge that I already have from the past 12 years of research I have done on a wide array of topics. Though I may not know everything about a specific topic, I can promise you that I know enough to at least set you on the right path to learning more on your own.
I am excessively ADHD and I have a toddler, so I rely heavily on the tumblr queue to keep things active here. I either exist in a persistent state of chaos, or I cease to exist entirely for a few days and there isnt much in-between. Due to this, it may take me a minute to respond to any asks that are directed my way. I promise I am not ignoring you and I will get to it as soon as my brain actually allows me to do so.
I initially created this community as a means for my friends and me to be able to share what we know with each other in order to further our practices, but what started as a small, close-knit discord and evolved into something I never would have expected. I strive to make a healthy and safe environment for all, regardless of background or belief. i pride myself predominantly on my ability to accept all walks of life, to learn from them, and to them share what I have learned with others. There is not a question that could be asked that I will not do my best to answer.
