An embarrassing memory.
The countless amount of times Tamaki has been caught talking to his dog Antoinette. At first he has no shame, finding it perfectly normal. Everyone talks to their pets right? But the sheer extent that Tamaki takes it, always taking things to the next level, he doesn’t bat a single eyelash until he is finally called out on it. Words like weird, strange, doofus, baka are all triggering to the boss and he will spend days locked away in his bedroom moping if it happens to be during a school break or holiday. Finally Haruhi is the one who manages to get him out of his room by convincing him that it’s okay to talk to animals, just maybe not to that extent. The worst part? During his isolation he can’t help but eye Antoinette with that urge to talk to her like she’s a real person, before immediately beginning to feel ashamed again, remembering how abnormal it supposedly made him. Leave Tamaki to take his friends input and blow it way out of proportion.
