The reviews sounded great - the menu items were intriguing so last night the family @ccooper1023 @kaitcoop0122 @jonathon.cooper.73 & I visited @acadian_grille If you are in/near Omaha - DO NOT MISS THIS Since our combined experience level of tasting cajun cuisine ranged from very little to most everything - I decided to start with a sample of the unusual. Nine years ago during my first visit to Omaha, the first meal I shared with @jonathon.cooper.73 & @ccooper1023 was @twistedforkoldmarket The food was impressive during that visit so I was curious as to how things have changed in 9 years. Lunch!! It's just Mija @ccooper1023 and I. Seafood was the choice at #ShucksFishHouse We started with onion rings and fried calamari - two thumbs up ENTREES @ccooper1023 ordered the Angry Crab Linguini - Deep Sea Red Crab with charred scallions, garlic, jalapeno and a roasted red pepper and tomato cream topped with toasted Old Bay bread crumbs. Last night we all had a craving for a classic Chicago hot dog. I visited B&B Classic dogs for the first time perhaps two years ago. I found the Chicago dog to be very authentic. I also sampled their College World Series menu. Sadly this restaurant is destined to close later this year. I needed another bite before the doors closed for good. I opted for the foot long Chicago dog along with tater tots. So tasty. If your looking for a great dog, give this a try.
