The Vampyr: A Soap Opera (1992) BBC program based on Der Vampyr, a 1828 German opera, which in turn was based on John Polidori’s 1819 short short… whew!
The BBC version updates everything to the current era. Ripley the vampire (played by Omar Ebrahim)must drink the blood of three women with three days, otherwise his immortal life will end… and his sings while he’s stalking his prey!
